@Andy – I’m not sure if or how you can export MT pages. I didn’t have any pages managed in MT so I didn’t have to deal with it. Sorry I don’t have a solution for you!

So this is pretty cool and all.. but I’ve hit a roadblock that I can’t seem to find any answers for… how do you export your Pages out of MT? The export tools exports Entries, comments, tags, categories, etc.. but all the Pages are left behind.

Is there a way to handle bringing them over as well? I definitely need to because there are like 130+ pages in the MT blog I’m trying to migrate to WordPress.

Thank you for writing this – I’ve been getting ready to start a blog, and it pleases me that I decided it would be a pain to start in TypePad and move to WordPress – I’m starting a hosted WordPress blog this week. It is generous of you to pass along a few tips, too – I’m sure that those who can afford to will use your services, anyhow, and the rest of us will bungle along, hoping ultimately to be able to afford you – by the way, it seems that your services are reasonably priced, I’m just out of work, and struggling just to be able to begin my blog! I appreciate the fine work you do, and reviewing this blog, I think you have a great, sardonic sense of humor. When my situation improves, you can fine tune my new blog!
